With the hot stones, the ordinary facial becomes a relaxing and rejuvenating spa treatment that has a cool stone finish.  This class demonstrates how to transform a facial into a full body experience by incorporating hot stone booties, hot stone mitts and chakra stones.  The seminar also includes the proper use, care, and equipment needed to perform this treatment.

Hot Stone Meridian

Nature’s Stones Inc. presents The Hot Stone Meridian Seminar. Based on Shiatsu, this protocol is performed on a table rather than on the floor for ease in working with stones. This class teaches how to treat meridians with hot stones for healing. Topics included in the seminar are the balance of the Ying and Yang, stretches to increase joint mobility and proper body mechanics for the practitioner. The proper use, care, and equipment needed to perform this treatment is also covered.

New therapeutic stone shapes in Marble and Basalt are introduced..A review is presented on the contraindications, care and cleaning of the stones and equipment, and important facts like temperature and handling of the stones. Cold marble stone therapy is introduced with lecture and demonstrations.
