Patricia Mayrhofer, LMT, founder and President of Nature’s Stones Inc., is a cosmetologist; massage therapist and instructor since 1995, incorporating healing stones into multi-disciplinary approaches of client treatment. She has assembled an experienced network of professionals developing and teaching multiple healing stone therapies in massage and spa treatments, both nationally and internationally. Pat is expanding the teaching of seminars to include more stone protocols as well as many manual seminars.
Along with the administration of her company Pat believes in the hands on approach to business. She is involved in teaching, community outreach with her Therapy Dog Tucker, and the promotion of stone massage, quality therapeutic massage, and maintains a massage therapy practice. Pat holds a patent on the Nexauna, (hot stone drape), and has created a full line of unique textile products that promotes the safety of hot stone massage. She has produced six educational videos on various protocols with hot and cold stones. Pat can be found on You Tube for Oak Works, Pure Pro Massage Oils, the American Massage Conference, Massage Magazine, and the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education. She has also been instrumental in the development of a massage stone heater.
Teaching is Pat’s passion, as well as the promotion of safe, quality stone massage, which is very important to insure this modalities future. She is involved in the teaching of Nature’s Healing Stone Therapy ( full body hot stone massage), Advanced Therapeutic Stone Massage, The Art of Pedicure/ Manicure Massage, The Art of Cool Lift Face Rejuvenation, the Executive Stree Relief protocol, and assists on her staff on all other seminars.
Pat has served as an adviser on the board of the Lehigh Valley College massage therapy program, as a technical advisor for the Pennsylvania Licensing Coalition Committee, the Metal Ware Corporation (Spa~Pro), as well as several other companies in the massage therapy industry. She spoke at the International Congress of Esthetics in Philadelphia in March 2006 and again for ICE in Dallas in March 2007. Pat has either collaborated or written several articles for Massage Magazine, Massage and Bodywork magazine, Dermoscope magazine, Les Nouvelles Esthetiques & Spa American Edition magazine, and currently writes a monthly column for Massage Magazine’s on-line edition.
