President of Pure Pro Massage Products, Dianna started her career as a student at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the winter of 1992. As a student with intensive training in the (Ben) Benjamin Technique, with specialization in neck and shoulder injuries, and pregnancy massage protocols, she organized and implemented the massage therapy program at Beth Israel Hospital, the first of its kind in a hospital setting in Boston. At the same time, Diana developed and maintained a private muscular therapy practice.
As a massage therapist herself, and through experience with a broad array of clients with different skin types, Diana became is acutely aware of the importance of how the products you choose to use in you practice not only effects the recipients of your treatments, but equally so, how these products also enhance your own health and well-being. She had tried every massage product on the market and yet her sensitive skin continually developed painful sores from the artificial fragrances, preservatives, and additives that at time (and unfortunately still today) were frequently being used when formulating oils, lotions, crèmes and gels – including carrier oils. That was when Diana had her epiphany, and realized that if she wanted her clients, and herself, to enjoy the benefits of high quality, effective, and non-irritating products, she would have to make them personally.
As a therapist, Diana values using massage oils, lotions, creams, and gels that soothe and nourish the skin, all enriched with the finest quality ingredients. As a manufacturer, she vowed to never use chemically derived water dispersing agents, food grade ingredients such as canola oil, or artificial fragrances. She wanted to make each massage oil, essential oil, massage lotion and cream as pure, natural, and gentle as possible.
All Pure Pro products were created for use in Diana’s own medical massage practice. Muscular Therapy is a form of specific, injury management work that requires precision touch, and she needed lighter textures that the heavier, more oily products prevalent in the market interfered with. Since she mostly treated clients suffering from chronic pain, Diana also needed an effective way to relieve their soreness between treatments and the soreness from deep tissue massage. As any health and wellness professional would do, she consulted herbalists and naturopaths to see what could be done, naturally, with the result being the Pure Pro Arnica Therapeutic Concentrate after 1+ years of formulation and testing. Just a few drops of Pure Pro Arnica Therapeutic Concentrate worked into the injury site eased this muscle tenderness and gave the client a way to work on painful areas at home.
From the start seventeen years ago, and continuing through today, Pure Pro has distinguished itself by adhering to its primary objectives of quality, purity, efficacy, and education. Each Pure Pro product you try is the result of Diana’s own hands-on experience combined with feedback from thousands of professionals like you. As the company continues to grow, both domestically and internationally, she takes personal responsibility for all aspects of creation, development, manufacture, and distribution of the products, all the while emphasizing continuing education, unparalleled customer service, and a consistently superior product at competitive pricing.
